Whether a family reunion, group retreat or just a group looking to get away, The Union Hotel is the perfect location for your gathering.
The hotel has been completely remodeled
by the Mercer Family to reflect it's Gold Rush heritage and caters to groups
seeking the solitude of the "Lost Sierras."
Surrounded by the beauty of the Plumas National Forest, La Porte is a tiny mountain community situated on the banks of Rabbit Creek. Miners still pan for gold on the banks of the creek, but the jewel of the area is Little Grass Valley Reservoir just three miles from the hotel. Here you can boat, fish and swim to your hearts content. In the winter the main pastimes are cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and relaxing by the fire in the hotel.
Let us reserve a space for you.
